I've been to Jefferson's a few times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME the food has been great and the service has been amazing! The prices aren't bad either! It's a nice, little spot in the downtown area. I've visited at night and during the day. We have always been lucky to get an open table. If you like big, juicy wings this is the best place to go!
Our server Micheal Belew was so sweet. We did wait a little over an hour on our food but when it did come everything was fresh and delicious. He communicated very well with us and checked on us multiple times. We also received a discount and free cheese sticks for the long wait.

Food was great and service was fantastic. We went around 7, when they close at 8 and they were very quick as well. The fried pickles were perfect, whereas most places make them too salty. Fantastic experience. Next time I'm definitely trying the wings!

This place was a bit of a surprise since we didn't even intend to go there! But, boy, am I glad we did! It was delicious. We'll definitely be taking the family back at some point in the future. Good atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. What more could you ask for? The burgers were good. We also got the double fried wings where they saw some and then fry them. They were really good, but they need a second round of sauce after the second fry. Check them out! You won't be disappointed.
Service has been great on multiple visits - Maura is great!! The burgers are outstanding - black n blue is my fav so far and the fried pickle burger impressed my wife! My son loves the chicken wings, and my other jams on the hot dogs. Weve been here 3 times in a week...
I met a friend at Jefferson’s on South Railroad in Opelika last night for a few cold beverages. I grabbed one of my favorites on the menu, the shrimp basket with cole slaw. The food came out quickly and hot. Lauren, our bartender, was very attentive. It's a great place to chase away those “it’s dark too early” blues.
